How it works
Open Cards and add a question on the front and the answer on the back, with a deck name such as “Spanish verbs” or “Biology 101”. In Study, tap the card (or press the space bar) to see the answer, then say how it went: Again (1), Good (2) or Easy (3).
The cards use a simple repeat schedule called the Leitner system. Cards live in six boxes. A card you get wrong goes back to box 0 and shows again right away; a card you know moves up and comes back after 1, 3, 7, 14 and then 30 days. Easy skips a box. Short, regular sessions beat one long cram, so study a little each day.
Make cards fast
Write one fact per card, and ask in your own words. Prefer a short answer. To add many cards at once, make a spreadsheet with the columns deck, front and back, save it as CSV and press Import. Export CSV gives you a backup, including your progress.
Questions
Where are my cards? Only in this browser on this device; there is no account and nothing is uploaded. Export a copy now and then, because clearing browser data deletes them. How many cards? Up to 3,000. For notes instead of cards, use Notes.
