Notes

    Backup

JSON is the full backup. CSV has one row per note (title, text, last edited). Plain text only: line breaks are kept. Your data lives in this browser only: clearing site data or switching device loses it, so export a file to keep a copy.

    How to use Notes

    1. Press New note, give it a title and start writing. It saves a moment after you stop typing.
    2. The list shows your newest edits first. Search looks in titles and text.
    3. The word and character count sits under the note. Delete note asks you to confirm first.

    Questions

Is it private? Yes. Notes are never uploaded: they’re kept in this browser on this device.

Will I lose them? Clearing your site data, or using another device, means starting empty. Use Export JSON to keep a copy and Import to bring it back.

Is there formatting? No. Notes are plain text, with no bold or links, which keeps them safe to export and import.

What does CSV hold? One row per note with its title, text and last edited time. JSON is the full backup.

How much fits? Up to 100 notes of 20,000 characters each.
