Yes or no

Think of a question that has a yes or no answer, press Ask and see what comes up. It is a coin flip with a bit of style. A useful trick: if you feel disappointed by the answer, that tells you what you were hoping for. Tick “Allow maybe style answers” to add answers like “Probably yes” and “Ask again later”.

Pros and cons

Write down the reasons for and against, and give each an importance from 1 (minor) to 5 (major). The bar shows the share of the total weight that sits on the pros. “It’s close” appears when the two sides are within about a tenth of each other, which is a signal to look for one more reason, or to go with your gut. The score is a thinking aid, not a verdict.

Questions

Should I use this for big decisions? Use it to organise your thoughts, not to replace advice from people you trust. For anything involving health, money or legal matters, talk to a professional.
