How to play

Add the players. The phone is passed round and each player writes three statements about themselves in private: two true and one false, marking the false one. Good statements are surprising but believable, such as “I have been stuck in a lift” or “I can speak three languages”. The order of the three is shuffled for you, so the lie can be first, second or third.

Then each player’s statements are shown to the group in a random order. Talk it over (the author must keep a straight face and may answer questions) and tell the phone which statement the group picked. If the group finds the lie, every guesser scores 1. If the group is fooled, the author scores 2. The highest score at the end wins.

Keep it friendly

Write about things you are happy to share with the group. Skip anything private or that could hurt someone. The statements are shown only on this phone, are never sent anywhere and are gone when you close the page.

Can we play on a video call? Pick Play online under the player list: everyone joins the same room on their own phone.
