How to use the stopwatch
- Start begins timing. Stop pauses it, and Resume carries on from the same time.
- Lap records a split while it runs. Each row shows that lap’s time and the total so far.
- Reset clears the time and the laps once it’s stopped.
On a keyboard: Space starts and stops, L records a lap and R resets.
Questions
Does it keep running if I close the page? Yes. It stores the moment you pressed Start, not a counter, so it’s still right when you come back, even after a restart.
Which lap is highlighted? With two or more laps, the fastest is green and the slowest is red.
How precise is it? It shows hundredths of a second. Your reaction when you press the button matters more than that, usually around a fifth of a second.
