How to print a calendar
Choose One month for a large page with big empty squares you can write in, or Whole year for all twelve months on one sheet. Pick the month and year, and whether the week starts on Sunday (common in the US and Canada) or Monday (common in Europe and in business calendars). Turn on Week numbers to add the ISO week number to each row. Then press Print. Only the calendar prints, without the rest of the page. In your browser’s print window you can choose a landscape page for the monthly calendar, or “Save as PDF” to keep a copy.
About the dates
The calendar uses the Gregorian calendar, the one in use almost everywhere, and the rules for leap years: a year divisible by 4 is a leap year, except years divisible by 100 that are not also divisible by 400. So 2028 and 2000 have a 29 February, while 2100 does not. The tool supports the years 1583 to 9999, because the Gregorian calendar was introduced in 1582 and older dates differ by country. Week numbers follow the ISO 8601 rule, where week 1 is the week with the year’s first Thursday, so the first days of January can belong to week 52 or 53 of the year before.
Questions
Does it show public holidays? No, holidays differ by place and by year, so the squares are left empty for your own notes. Can I add notes or events? Not on screen, but the blank squares are meant for writing by hand after printing. Is my choice remembered? Your week-start and week-number choices are saved on this device. To count working days between two dates, use the Business Days Calculator.
