How to use it

Choose whether you want paragraphs, sentences or words, type how many, and press Copy. Leave “Start with Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet” on for the traditional opening, or turn it off for fully random text. New text shuffles a fresh version. For web pages, “Wrap in <p> tags” puts each paragraph in HTML paragraph tags.

What is lorem ipsum?

It is scrambled Latin used as filler so people judge a layout, a font or a template without being distracted by the meaning of the words. The words come from a work by the Roman writer Cicero, written in 45 BC and long in the public domain. The text doesn’t mean anything in this order, and using it in your own designs is free.

How much text can I make? Up to 200 paragraphs or sentences, or 5,000 words, at a time.
