How to make a logo
Type your name and, if you like, a short tagline. Tap a Style to try a font, colors and layout that go together, or press Surprise me for a random one. Then change any part on its own: pick an icon (or First letter for a monogram), put it to the left, on top or inside a round badge, give the icon a frame, and choose the colors and background. The preview on the right is exactly what you download.
Download PNG makes a picture at 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels on its long side; with the See-through background it drops onto any color. Download SVG makes a file that stays sharp at any size, for print, signs and design apps; the fonts travel inside it. Fit to logo trims the space around the logo, while Square and Wide give it room for profile pictures and banners.
Tips for a logo that works
Keep the name short and check the small previews: a logo has to read on a phone screen and as a tiny icon. Two fonts at most (one for the name, a plain one for the tagline). Strong contrast between the letters and the background matters more than the exact shade. Script fonts look lovely big but get hard to read small, so pair them with a plain tagline.
Questions
Can I use the logo for my business? Yes. The fonts are under the SIL Open Font License and the icons were drawn for this site, so you can use what you make anywhere, including commercially. Because the icons and fonts are shared by everyone who uses this tool, you can’t claim them as your own design, and a simple logo may not be registrable as a trademark; check before you file one. Is anything uploaded? No. The logo is drawn in your browser. Your last design is remembered on this device. How does Copy link work? The whole design is packed into the link itself, so whoever opens it sees your logo and can change their own copy; nothing is stored on a server. For a site icon from your logo’s letter see the Favicon Generator.
