How to make a countdown
- Type an optional title, such as “Holiday”, and pick the date and time.
- Press Start countdown. Or tap New Year or Christmas for a ready-made one.
- Use Copy share link to send a countdown to someone. The date and title are inside the link, so they see the same thing.
Questions
Which time zone does it use? Yours. A countdown to midnight on 1 January ends at midnight where you are. A shared link also opens at the date and time in the viewer’s own time zone, so for a moment that is the same worldwide (a live stream, say), pick the time in the zone you want and say so.
Are my countdowns saved? Yes, in this browser, up to twelve. They stay when you close the tab. They aren’t sent to a server.
What happens when it reaches zero? It shows “It’s here!”. Remove it when you’re done.
Does the share link need an account? No. Anyone with the link sees the countdown and can save it to their own list.
