Questions
What’s the difference between HEX, RGB and HSL? They describe the same color. HEX and RGB mix red, green and blue (HEX in base 16). HSL gives hue (the position on the color wheel, 0–360), saturation and lightness, which is easier for making a color lighter or darker.
Is my picture uploaded? No. It is drawn on a canvas in your browser and never sent anywhere.
Why does the color from a photo look slightly off? You are reading the exact pixel, and photos have noise and gradients. Try a spot nearby, or a flatter area.
Where are recent colors kept? In this browser only, up to twelve. Use Clear to empty the list.
