How to play

The deck hides one rotten egg fewer than there are players. Everyone starts with a Nest and four action cards.

Your turn. Play as many action cards as you like, one at a time, then draw the top card of the deck to end your turn. If you draw a rotten egg and hold a Nest, the Nest saves you: put the egg back into the deck wherever you like, without anyone seeing where. With no Nest, you’re out.

The last player still in wins.

The cards

  • 👀 Peek: look at the top three cards of the deck. Only you see them.
  • 💤 Nap: end your turn without drawing.
  • 🌀 Stir: shuffle the deck.
  • ⏩ Hand Off: end your turn without drawing, and the next player takes two turns in a row.
  • 🫳 Snatch: take a random card from another player.
  • ⛏️ Dig: end your turn by drawing from the bottom of the deck instead of the top.
  • 🪺 Nest: saves you from one rotten egg. It’s used by itself when you draw one.

Tips

The deck shows how many cards and eggs are left, so the danger grows as it shrinks. Save your Nap and Hand Off for when you know an egg is on top. When you tuck an egg back, putting it on top hits the next player, unless they have a way out.
