How to play
The board has 24 points on three squares joined at their middles. Each player has nine pieces. First, take turns placing one piece at a time on any empty point. Once all eighteen are placed, take turns moving one of your pieces along a line to a neighbouring empty point.
Three of your pieces in a row along one line is a mill. Each time you make one, while placing or moving, you take one of the other player’s pieces off the board. You can’t take a piece that’s part of a mill unless all of their pieces are. Opening a mill by moving a piece out and then back in makes it again.
When a player is down to three pieces, they may jump a piece to any empty point. You lose when you have only two pieces left, or when you can’t move. If fifty moves pass without a mill, the game is a draw.
Tips
The points where four lines meet (the middles of the middle square) give the most freedom; grab them early. While placing, don’t rush to make mills: blocking the other player and keeping your pieces able to move matters more. In the moving phase, a running mill (a piece that can step out of one mill and into another) wins games.

When online play is available, pick Play online above the board. One of you creates a room and shares the link; the first two people in the room play and swap colors after every game.
