How to play
All the cards start face down. Flip two cards: if the pictures match, they stay face up; if not, they turn back over after a moment and you try again. Find every pair to finish. Each pair of flips counts as one move, and fewer moves is better. You get up to three stars: three for a near-perfect memory, two for a good game and one for finishing.
Choose from Easy (12 cards), Medium (20) or Hard (30). The best number of moves for each size is saved in this browser. Cards can be flipped with a tap, a click, or the keyboard (Tab to a card and press Enter).
Tips
Work in a pattern, such as row by row, so you remember where you saw each picture. Say the animals to yourself. Remember where the card was you just saw when a pair does not match: those two are worth more than guessing. Memory games are a classic way to train short-term memory for all ages.
