Play your cards in order, without a word

You and the computer, as a team

Computer partners

Your partners can’t see your cards and you can’t see theirs. They play when it feels like time, just like people do.

Not in the same room? Play online while you talk on a call, each on your own phone.

How to play

Everyone is on the same team. The cards run from 1 to 100. On level 1 each player holds one card, on level 2 two cards, and so on. You can see your own cards but not anyone else’s, and you can’t talk about them: no numbers, no hints, no “go on then”.

There are no turns. Whenever you think nobody holds a lower card than yours, play your lowest card onto the pile. Together, the team has to play every card in rising order.

If a card goes down while someone still holds a lower one, the team loses a life and all the lower cards are thrown out. When every hand is empty, the level is cleared and the next one is dealt.

Lives and skips

The team starts with one life per player and one skip. If everyone holding cards asks for a skip, each player throws out their lowest card, which can get you past a tricky spot. Clearing levels 3, 6 and 9 gives a life back; levels 2, 5 and 8 give a skip. Clear the last level (12 with two players, 10 with three, 8 with four) to win.

Tips

Count slowly in your head from the top of the pile: the further your card is above it, the longer you wait. Watch the others and feel the team’s pace. Press Ready only when you’re settled; the level starts when everyone is.

Playing together

With the computer, choose one to three partners: they time their cards the way people do, and they make mistakes too. Online, everyone opens the invite link on their own phone; it’s best on a video call where you can see each other.
