How to play
Press Start. One pad lights up, and plays a note if your sound is on. Then it is your turn: press the same pad. Next round, the pattern is one pad longer, with the same pads first and one new pad at the end. Repeat it all from memory. Each round adds a step and the pattern gets a little faster. One wrong press ends the game, and your score is the number of rounds you completed. Choose 4 pads for the classic game or 6 pads for a harder one. On a keyboard, the number keys 1 to 6 press the pads. Each pad also has a shape, so the colors are not the only way to tell them apart.
Tips
Do not try to remember every pad one by one. Group the pattern into chunks of three or four and say each chunk to yourself, such as “red, blue, blue”. The notes help too: the pads make a major chord, so the pattern becomes a little tune you can hum back. Playing with the sound on is easier than playing without it.
Does it use sound files? No. The notes are made by your browser, and the Sound switch at the top of the page turns them off. Only your best score is saved, on this device.
