How to play
Duck Putt is mini golf for 1 to 6 players. Everyone starts on the tee and takes turns one putt at a time; whoever is already in the cup sits out until the next hole.
- Tap the course to aim the ball that way (the arrows nudge it), choose the power, then press Putt.
- The ball bounces off walls, slows in sand and rolls back down the hill. A ball rolling too fast skips over the cup.
- Into the water costs one stroke, and the ball goes back where it was.
- The windmill turns only while a ball is rolling, so you can see where its blades are before you putt.
- Eight strokes on a hole and you pick up. After nine holes (or a quick three), the fewest strokes wins.
The course
Straight Shot, Dogleg, The Block, Bunker, The Bridge, Windmill, Zig Zag, Duck Hill and The Nest. Par for the nine is 26. The quick game plays Straight Shot, The Block and Windmill.
Tips
Aim to stop near the cup rather than blasting at it. Walls bounce the ball back at the same angle, so on the Dogleg and Zig Zag aim at a wall to get round the corner. On Duck Hill, putt firmly: a weak putt rolls back to you.
