How to play

A game is ten frames. In each frame you get two balls to knock down all ten ducks.

  • Aim: tap the lane where the ball should go, or use the Aim slider. The dotted line shows its path if it rolls straight.
  • Stand moves where you let go of the ball, from the left of the lane to the right.
  • Spin makes the ball hook to one side, more and more as it nears the pins.
  • Players take turns a whole frame at a time.

Scoring

Each duck knocked down is a point. Knock all ten down with your first ball for a strike: 10 plus whatever your next two balls knock down. All ten with both balls is a spare: 10 plus your next ball. In the tenth frame a strike or spare earns extra balls to finish the bonus. A perfect game, twelve strikes in a row, scores 300.

Tips

Hitting the front duck dead on often leaves ducks standing on both sides. Aim for the gap just beside it, the “pocket”, and come in at a slight angle: stand to one side and spin the ball back towards the middle. For a spare, aim straight at the ducks that are left.
