How to play
The board shows every card in two decks except the jacks, so each card has two spaces. The four corners are free spaces that count for everyone. Each player holds 7 cards (6 with three or four players).
- Your turn: play a card from your hand and put one of your chips on either of its spaces, then draw a new card.
- Jacks of diamonds and clubs are wild: put a chip on any open space.
- Jacks of spades and hearts take one of your opponents’ chips off the board, as long as it isn’t part of a finished line.
- Dead cards: if both spaces for a card already have chips, tap it and swap it for a new card. You can do this once a turn.
Winning
Five of your chips in a straight line (across, down or diagonally, free corners included) make a line. With two players, or four playing as two teams with partners sitting opposite, the first side to make two lines wins; your two lines may share one chip. With three players, the first line wins. If nobody can play any more, the side with the most lines wins.
Tips
Watch your rivals’ rows of three and four and block them early; a single chip in the gap stops a line for good unless they take it off with a jack. Keep a wild jack for the move that finishes a line, and save the jacks that take chips off for a rival’s row of four. A long run of your own lets you make both lines in the same row.
