How to play
Press Start and a word appears with its letters mixed up. Type the real word and press Check or Enter. Each correct word scores one point for every letter, so longer words are worth more, and a new word appears at once. If you are stuck, Hint shows the first letter and the length for a cost of two points, and Skip gives up on the word and shows you the answer. You have 90 seconds. Your best score is saved on this device.
The words are everyday nouns of five to nine letters from eight themes: animals, food, places, nature, jobs, sports, school and things around the house. If the same letters can make two words on the list, either one is accepted.
Tips
Look for common endings first (ING, ER, TION) and pull them out of the jumble. Try putting the letters in pairs that often go together, like TH, CH, ST and PL. Say the letters out loud in different orders; hearing a word is often quicker than seeing it. Skip a hard word early, because each second is worth the same.
